Primary Version
This Social Story was developed to support mainstream Primary School students with ASC who are returning to school after a period of absence due to school closure. It can be customised for the individual child and the school by staff/parents. It follows Carol Gray’s 10.2 formula so take care not to alter the balance of descriptive and coaching sentences.
Secondary Version (Simple)

This Social Story aims to help students understand the difficult abstract concept of social distancing. It can be amended as the advice changes around distancing.
Higher Functioning Version
This Social Script aims to help students understand the conflict in The Ukraine and includes instructions on how to embed this into a wider piece of work around anxiety.
